Following the demise of The Smirks, Simon Milner and some others released a single on the Parlophone label under the name of "The Bernhardts", about which we know very little. It contained the songs "I hear you calling" and "Send your heart to me".
Simon now has a close involvement with the Oscar Bernhardt Ensemble, a successful band playing 30's & 40's Swing & Latin Music. Their repertoire includes over 350 songs, none of which appear to be Smirks songs. I encourage you to visit their website and see for yourself.
